This heavyweight zinc coated metal chain net is the most durable net we supply - ideal for parks and schools.
This is the chain net only - not the hoop/ring - to replace old net on any standard size (18inch diameter) or smaller basketball ring with 12 hooks/fixing loops.
This net is in Galvanised Heavy Duty steel chain and is ideal for garden, park, school or club use. Chain nets are usually used on outdoor hoops. Red/White/Blue and White Standard-Weight and White Heavy duty nylon nets and lightweight Chain nets are in our full range if this net does not suit your purpose.
Advice on Fitting the Net to your hoop/ring:
Most hoops/rings have hooks welded to them and this chain net has 12 hooks that loop into these and are easily closed with a pair of pliers. This net is NOT SUITABLE for smooth rings (i.e. with no hooks) where you need a nylon net and you then need a length of string or nylon cord to wind spiral fashion around the ring and through the loops of net. For rings with clip fixings - if these need replacing you will need to find a supplier of spare parts for the make of hoop you have or alternatively use the length of cord method of fixing from above - again nylon nets only are appropriate.
